Shipping Information

We pack all our trees VERY well. Pots are wrapped to conserve moisture, then packed in double layer bubble wrap, then tree placed in strong cardboard box with recycled polystyrene filler to protect it from damage and also to insulate the tree. Over 10 years we have found this to be the best way to pack live bonsai. (Unlike some outlets, we don’t wire pots into empty boxes and hope for the best!) We make sure our bonsai arrive to you quickly and in the same condition that they leave us in. So no need to worry about them while they are on their way to their new home.

We pack 7 days a week, and despatch Mon – Fri. Our courier collects around NOON. If you order early morning, we shall pack your order and it will be sent out the same day by next day* courier (DHL / UK Mail). If you order after NOON, your order will be packed same day and despatched the following day by next day* courier.

Christmas Orders

Our last day for courier despatch will be 21st December. Any courier orders placed after the 21st will be held and despatched on the 5th of Jan (once couriers are back at work). Smaller orders that go by royal mail will continue to ship during this period.

Although we get very busy at this time of year, we work long and hard to get deliveries shipped as timely as possible. We are also contactable by phone on 0115 9205757 for queries.

Payments

We take secure online payment by either Stripe or PayPal. You can also visit our studio and purchase all our items in-person.

Standard UK Delivery

  • £4.95 for all regular Accessories, Pots, Books and Gifts - or FREE when purchased with one of our Bonsai Trees
  • £7.95 for all Bulky Accessories and Large Pots
  • £7.95 per tree for all regular Bonsai Trees - with half-price delivery for each additional tree
  • £19.95 for large Bonsai Trees
  • £9.95 per large bag of soil - £3 for each additional bag
  • FREE delivery for all gift vouchers

International Delivery

Shipping ranges from £9.95 to 22.95 depending on the items ordered, due to varied delivery weights and costs.

Damaged Goods

Any item damaged during transit must be reported immediately. Damaged items must be reported to receive returns information. Once the item has been received and verified, the refund reviewed.

Returns

Unwanted items can be returned at buyers cost for a refund/replacement of the items value only. This does not include postage costs. Because bonsai are live plants and are perishable if not cared for correctly, they are exempt from the consumer contracts regulations which came into force on the 13th June 2014. We regret that after 7 days of delivery, we are no longer able to refund, replace or accept return of a bonsai.
