To celebrate the launch of the New Auris and New Avensis we are delighted to have been able to give you a Bonsai which has been delivered from Greenwood Bonsai close to the production plant for our new models.
The Bonsai is a living artform and characterises attention to detail and longevity. We hope that it gives you many years of pleasure as with our products and services.
Chinese Holly Bonsai
Bonsai Care
Indoor Bonsai need to be kept warm during the autumn and winter. During summer they can be kept outside. Ideal temperatures indoors are 15c-20c. Keep them away from heat sources like radiators that can dry them out too quickly.
Position
Place your Chinese Holly Bonsai on a windowsill so that it receives as much sunlight as possible. Rotate it regularly to avoid uneven growth.
Watering
Bonsai require plenty of water. Water every day in summer, twice a day if needed, less often in winter. Check them each day. You cannot over water Bonsai, if in doubt water. Water thoroughly from above until you see some water draining out from the bottom of the pot. You can do this outside, on a draining boa5rd, in a sink etc. so it makes less mess.
Feed
Feed your tree with Bonsai fertiliser once a month during the growing season.
Humidity
For humidity, you can mist the tree with water, in addition to water. You can also add humidity by placing your tree on a humidity tray containing water. Always ensure drainage holes of your pot are above the water level in the tray.
