Christmas cheer is now building in the Greenwood.

Here is some information to help you through the festive season.

Christmas Market

As in previous years, we have a stall on the Winter Wonderland in the Old Market Square, Nottingham. Paul is once again delighted to be selling bonsai from his cabin (opposite Debenhams) 7 days a week 10-6pm (8pm last week before Christmas, up until Christmas Eve). Please pop down to see him so he doesn't get too lonely !  He has a great selection of over 150 bonsai, ideal for Christmas gifts for family and friends.

Nursery Opening Times

We are open every day 10-4.   7 days a week.

During Christmas week we are open as follows - 

Christmas Eve -  Open 10-2

Christmas Day  -  Closed

Boxing Day  -  Closed

27th  -  Closed

28th, 29th, 30th, 31st,  Open 10-4

1st Jan -  Closed

Shipping info / Website sales

We pack all our trees VERY well. Pots are wrapped to conserve moisture, then packed in double layer bubble wrap, then tree placed in strong cardboard box with polystyrene filler to protect it from damage and also to insulate the tree. Over 10 years we have found this to be the best way to pack live bonsai. (Unlike some outlets, we don't wire pots into empty boxes and hope for the best ! ) We make sure our bonsai arrive to you quickly and in the same condition that they leave us in. So no need to worry about them while they are on their way to their new home.

We pack 7 days a week, and despatch Mon - Fri. Our courier collects around NOON. If you order early morning, we shall pack your order and it will be sent out the same day by next day* courier (UKmail). If you order after NOON, your order will be packed same day and despatched the following day by next day* courier.

Our last day for courier despatch will be 21st Dec. Any courier orders placed after 11am on the 21st will be held and despatched on the 2nd of JAN (once couriers are back at work). Smaller orders that go by royal mail will continue to ship during this period.

*in most cases, for UK mainland, delivery is next working day, very occasionally it might be an extra day depending on location of address / workload of courier etc.
